Current Arizona Real Estate Market

Dear Friends,

We would like to wish you a happy new year and offer our deepest gratitude for all of your support in 2007.

As you have heard, the Arizona real estate market has been very volatile this past year with plenty of ups and downs. However, in spite of the market, thanks to the loyalty of our clients, we are happy to report that Dana and I had the best year ever! As you know, our business is primarily by referral which is why we owe you our deepest appreciation. Because of your referrals, we continue to have success even in this kind of a market.

Speaking of which, we are starting to see the market pick up momentum with out of town visitors looking for all of the great buys that are available right now. In fact, we are working with several Canadian clients who are capitalizing on the weakness of our dollar combined with the availability of great properties at below market prices. However, it isn't all positive news and most experts agree that we will continue to see fluctuations in the upcoming year. I believe we are near bottom in many areas, but not all. Listing prices may not reflect that, but purchase prices do. I think for the well-informed, now is a very good time to buy!
